Buddy appears to be a bit "younger" a hound, maybe 7-8 who was very thin and malnourished when he arrived. He ate voraciously at first. He now sits beside his dish area patiently waiting for his dish and eats more quietly and slowly. Buddy has gained over 20 lbs from when he arrived here and is a beautiful hound. He has the most beautiful soft long ears! His temperament is very laid back. He settles right beside foster mom whenever she sits down, then he comes over and plops down on my feet so I cant leave without him! Buddy is our sentry hound and always advises when there is someone in the yard or at the door. He wants to be top dog and whenever possible, he positions himself across a hallway and across the living room so they other hounds cant get by. He needs someone he can cling to and be the best companion ever for. Maybe a single older person or couple. Hes wonderful!
