Welcome Maisie to SBR!! Maisie was found in traffic and was brought to a local vet's office. Maisie lost her eyes due to Glaucoma and is blind, but that isn't going to stop her from getting around and being your LOVEBUG!! At approximately 10 years of age, she is a sweet little old lady. Maisie gets along with other dogs and is VERY sweet and gentle! She gets along with everyone in the house including the 3 year old daughter. It took her a bit to warm up, but now gets along great with her! Be sure to have lots of dog beds around the house as Maisie loves to bed hop - lol!! She does tend to guard her food a bit but we believe it is because she can't see so we would be sure to feed her in a crate or other quiet alone place and let her finish before you pick up the dish.
