This xxxxs Buffet was hand carved in Burgundy France (historically and culturally rich). It towers 9 feet tall and 6 feet wide. It is a rare solid walnut piece that makes its own statement and will stand out like a jewel in any home. This is all HAND-MADE. It truly must be seen to be fully appreciated. It is HEAVILY carved and EXTREMELY detailed. The walnut has a very rich finish. This piece has locking cabinets, locking drawers, an open display area and beautifully carved scenes with detailed ornate scrolls and finials.
The top section comes off for moving, and has a custom piece built for it to be moved safely. Both section will require at least 2-3 men to move it. Overall the piece is in very good condition. There is a split in the wood on the top in the back that may have been made for a plate rest ? it was that way when purchased.
