UPDATE 11/1/14: TD is now at PetsMart on Archer Road in Gainesville!!! Everyone has met one of those cats that just makes you say, "Wow, Now that's a really cool cat." Well TD is that really cool cat! We don't understand why some animals are adopted quickly and others have to wait months and even years for their new home, but TD seems to be one of the unlucky ones. This cat is the perfect cat! He is terrific. He gets along with other cats and would love to go to a home with another kitten or young cat as a playmate. TD is very sweet and loving. He would do great with children. Please stop by and meet him today or call or email us about our adoption process. UPDATE 8/16/14: TD's eye is perfect now! He is ready for his new home. UPDATE 8/3/14: TD's surgery was post-poned until about 2 weeks ago. Picture was taken the day after his eye surgery. He has made a remarkable recovery and his eye is now perfect! He no longer squints and is a much happier boy. We have also learned a lot about TD during this time. He is a wonderful big brother!!! He adores other kittens and loves to play. We think he should go to a home with another playful young cat or a kitten. TD is a very fun, energetic and loving boy. Please consider giving this terrific guy a new home. Another cool thing about TD is the heart shaped mark on the toes of his right front foot. He is definitely a special boy <3 POSTED 6/24/14: TD is a young 10-11 month old orange and white short haired neutered male. TD was a stray that was searching for a meal when someone noticed his left eye. Squinting, watery, painful left eye. He has a condition called entropion which is the rolling in of his lower eyelid. This causes hair to rub on his eye every time he blinks. TD is scheduled for surgery tomorrow to repair his eyelid and will then be available for adoption in about a week. He has already been neutered, leukemia tested, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas and ear mites with advantage multi. TD is a very outgoing, friendly social kitty. He is very energetic and acts like a kitten. He gets along great with other playful kittens and cats and with children. We have many cats and kittens available for adoption throughout the year. Our kittens are in foster homes during the week where they receive the love and attention they need to grow and thrive. All of our cats and kittens have been leukemia tested, vet checked, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas with advantage, spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive any other necessary treatment while in our program such as treatment for ear mites, respiratory infections, etc. Our adoption fee is $100 to help cover a portion of the medical and care costs.
